Mission Opportunities

Ongoing Mission and Outreach Projects

Project Cure

Volunteer for Project Cure! Hope helps on the third Wednesday of every month at 10377 E. Geddes Ave, Centennial from 7:00pm to 9:00pm. No experience necessary, just show up and help pack medical supplies for disasters.  Contact John Clark at 303-850-9217 or Jack Baker at 303-770-2789 for more information.

Denver Urban Ministries (DENUM)
This organization assists low-income and homeless families by offering counseling, a job placement center and food and clothing banks. Hope contributes financial support and church members donate food for the food bank.

Hope collects non-perishable food items all year long to help supply the DENUM food bank downtown.  These items can be dropped off in the far left corner of the Fellowship Hall at any time.  Special food drives are also promoted several times a year.  Volunteers from the Christian Mission and Outreach Committee periodically pack up and deliver the food items to DENUM.  If you would like to help with this mission, please contact Penny Dwyer at 303-221-3977.

Meals on Wheels
"Providing food, friends and fellowship to neighbors."  Meals on Wheels is a not-for-profit organization providing hot meals to the homebound, frail, elderly and disabled five days a week.  Without the delivery of nutritious food, many persons would be unable to continue living in their own homes.

Hope members volunteer to deliver meals every Wednesday from the Littleton Meals on Wheels site and every Monday from the Aurora Meals on Wheels site near Heather Gardens. Hope also provides financial support to the organization.  Volunteers are scheduled on a monthly basis, or as a substitute driver.  If you are interested in helping with this easy and rewarding mission, contact Donna Ralston at donna@mngmntplus.com.

Kenya Missions
Hope church has supported many projects in Kenya, including a sister church in Chuka. Hope members participate in annual mission trips.  Contact Ann Fort, 303-220-0840,  if you have a interest in attending the next mission trip to Africa.
