Caring MinistriesCongregational Care TeamThere are a variety of ways to serve on the Congregational Care Team at Hope whether it is visiting homebound members, making hospital visits, writing cards, knitting prayer shawls, making and/or delivering meals or being on the prayer chain. The Congregation Care Team meets on the third Sunday of every month at noon in the Hope library to ensure that all of the care needs of the congregation are being effectively met.

Neighborhood Shepherding ProgramCongregational Care has been hard at work all summer getting Hope‘s new Shepherding Group up and running. The committee has currently recruited Shepherding Hosts for 17 geographically organized congregational groups. These groups will serve as places of care and connection between individual households and the church as a whole. Our goal is that through our Neighborhood Shepherding Groups we will become more connected with one another and better able to meet one another‘s needs as they arise.
The committee is still in need of Shepherding Hosts for the remaining 10 Groups. If you are not being contacted by a congregant who has volunteered to be an area Shepherding Host and you are interested in learning more about how you can start a Shepherding Group in your area, please contact Sheryl Bruton at 303-758-6730.
